Katarzyna specializes in medical devices law, as well as medical, civil, and commercial law. For more than a decade she has been advising entrepreneurs active in the medical sector.
She runs a legal blog on medical devices: Wyroby medyczne okiem Temidy (Medical devices in Temida’s view).
Katarzyna supports manufacturers, importers and distributors of medical devices, cosmetic products, and personal protective equipment in establishing operating strategies in the processes of launching products, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing safe marketing activities.
She conducts proceedings before the President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, before administrative courts and customs as well as tax authorities.
Katarzyna regularly conducts specialized webinars, trainings, and lectures on industry-related topics, both for companies and public institutions. She authored numerous publications and is a founding member of several associations, including the Polish Association of Company Lawyers (PSPP).
She speaks English.
Katarzyna has been with DBS since 2018. She has served as a Partner since 2024.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She completed the attorney-at-law apprenticeship at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Kielce, as well as postgraduate studies in “Medical law and bioethics” at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She gained professional experience, among others, working for capital companies in the medical devices sector.
