On October 6, 2022, Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum organized the Health Refuge 2022 conference (https://healthrefuge.org/) devoted to the health situation of Ukrainian citizens who came to Poland in connection with the war in Ukraine, held at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University. On behalf of our law firm, Marta Sroka-Maleta delivered a presentation on “Challenges and solutions for inclusion of Ukrainian refugees in the Polish healthcare system – legal perspective”, during which the activities of public administration bodies related to health protection and the pharmaceutical industry in the first days of the war were discussed, as well as legal changes including legalization of stay of Ukrainian citizens and free access to medical services.
We are very happy with the success of the Health Refuge 2022 conference and we appreciate the opportunity to attend. We are impressed by all the presentations of the speakers, which were at a high substantive level, full of emotions and commitment.
